Explicating this investigation as an example which shows obviously the manner of presence and existence of what is called “the historical” in the middle of its temporality and its claim for a supratemporal truth, we try to illuminate the meaning of a concept which Gadamer calles - with reference to Heidegger - “historicity” and “historical Being” and applies it to the classical works of art. In this paper we attempt to explain how Gadamer’s investigation on the attribute “classical” can show concretely that his understanding of the historicity of truth, of the claim of works of art for truth and the truth in the historical tradition is not on the one hand involved in assumption of a metaphysical sphere and a naive and abstract rationality which is not related to the reality of the historical tradition and its specific authority, on the other hand is not entangled by historicism and historical relativism, but rather can claim the consistent presence of truth through the history. در این مقاله بر بحث استطرادی گادامر دربارة چیستیِ وصف «کلاسیک» برای آثار هنری و ادبی تمرکز می‌شود و با شرح آن، به عنوان نمونه‌ای که نحوة حضور و وجود امر تاریخی را در میانة زمانی‌بودن و داعیة حقیقت فرازمانیِ آن، به نحو بارزی نشان می‌دهد، کوشش می‌شود تا معنا و چگونگیِ تحققِ آنچه گادامر با استناد به هایدگر، وجود «تاریخ‌مند» یا نحوة وجودِ «تاریخ‌مندی» می‌نامد، به‌روشنی و وضوح درآوریم. گادامر برای آثار کلاسیک، هم‌زمان دو وجه «تاریخی» و «فراتاریخی» قائل است؛ بدین معنی که این آثار با وجود تحقق در گذشته، حضور و استمرارِ فرازمانی در تمامی اعصار دارند. از این حیث، گادامر تداوم امر کلاسیک را بیش از همه، مثالی آشکار از پیوستگی سنت می‌داند که همواره از گذشته با زمان حال پیوند دارد. در خلال این بحث روشن خواهد شد که فهم گادامر از تاریخ‌مندیِ حقیقت، همچنین فهم او از نحوة داعیه‌داریِ حقیقت برای اثر هنری، و نیز نحوة نسبت دادنِ حقیقت به سنت تاریخی، به چه معنا از یک سو گرفتار فرض متافیزیکی یک عرصة فراتاریخی و ادعای ساده‌انگارانة عقلانیتِ بی‌نسبت با واقعیت سنت تاریخی و حجیت خاص آن نمی‌شود و از سوی دیگر، به دام نسبی‌انگاری تاریخی و اصالت تاریخ نمی‌افتد و می‌تواند حضور پایدار حقیقت را در تاریخ نشان دهد. https://jop.ut.ac.ir/article_80172_e34e33fc6f3efaa377d9caebd15b60e8.pdf
